Barbados as a family

‘The days are long, but the years are short,
Make the most of this precious time travelling with your family!

HERE ARE A FEW TIPS & IDEAS:-

BOOK YOUR FLIGHT EARLY:-

Most airlines release flights up to 11 months in advance. Flights to Barbados are usually cheaper in low season (May-November).  The temperature is more or less the same all year round in Barbados & thankfully Barbados sits just outside of the Hurricane belt, so even though low season sees more wind & rain, there is definitely less risk of bad weather than the other Caribbean islands.

RENT A CAR:-

Car Hire is around USD$50 p/day - its easier to get around Barbados & there are no sidewalks in some areas - can pick-up and drop-off @ airport.

STAY IN A SELF CATERING VILLA :-

Our two bedroom villas @ West Rock provide ample space & total comfort for families.  Parents can enjoy a relaxing evening together watching the sunset with dinner on the private terrace while the kids enjoy a good nights sleep!
There is a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare healthy meals for all the family, with a large fridge to stock children’s favourite foods & snacks.  There is a washing machine for those messy days at the beach, children’s tableware & complimentary WiFi.
We can also supply a cot, high chair, baby bath & monitor - just ask at time of booking to ensure availability.
We provide all the creature comforts that matter so much to families - especially ones that Hotels often can’t provide.

Come running at You.

A wave comes splashing
Over your toes
Your just stand still
And away it goes.

Down by the Sea
And look for Shells
If you’ll come with me.

It is our absolute pleasure to introduce ourselves as Paul & Lorraine from the UK, & to welcome you to West Rock Villas. We have been visiting Barbados for many years with our children & now grandchildren. So along with our love for this beautiful island, our travel experience in the aviation industry & property development knowledge, we have created this ‘Special Place to Be’! We wanted to provide something a little different, but with the essence of a traditional Barbadian ‘Chattel’ house & contemporary stylish interiors.
